چکیده
Calibration of multi-camera systems, i.e. determining the relative poses between cameras, is a prerequisite for many tasks in computer vision and robotics. Camera calibration typically achieved using offline methods that use checkerboard targets. These methods, however, often are cumbersome lengthy, considering new required each time any camera pose changes. In this work, we propose novel, marker-free online method extrinsic multiple smart edge sensors, relying solely on 2D human keypoint detections computed locally sensor boards from RGB images. Our assumes intrinsic parameters to be known requires priming with rough initial estimate poses. The person views received at central backend where they synchronized, filtered, assigned hypotheses. We these hypotheses repeatedly solve optimization problems form factor graphs. Given suitable observations one or persons traversing scene, estimated converge towards coherent within few minutes. evaluate our approach real-world settings show achieves lower reprojection errors compared reference generated by an traditional target.

Extrinsic Camera Calibration Using Multiple Reflections
This paper presents a method for determining the six-degreeof-freedom (DOF) transformation between a camera and a base frame of interest, while concurrently estimating the 3D base-frame coordinates of unknown point features in the scene. The camera observes the reflections of fiducial points, whose base-frame coordinates are known, and reconstruction points, whose base-frame coordinates are unk...
متن کاملMirror-Based Extrinsic Camera Calibration
This paper presents a method for determining the six degrees-of-freedom transformation between a camera and a base frame of interest. A planar mirror is maneuvered so as to allow the camera to observe the environment from several viewing angles. Points, whose coordinates in the base frame are known, are observed by the camera via their reflections in the mirror. Exploiting these measurements, w...

متن کاملExtrinsic Calibration of Camera Networks Using a Sphere
In this paper, we propose a novel extrinsic calibration method for camera networks using a sphere as the calibration object. First of all, we propose an easy and accurate method to estimate the 3D positions of the sphere center w.r.t. the local camera coordinate system. Then, we propose to use orthogonal procrustes analysis to pairwise estimate the initial camera relative extrinsic parameters b...
متن کامل3D LIDAR-Camera Extrinsic Calibration Using an Arbitrary Trihedron
This paper presents a novel way to address the extrinsic calibration problem for a system composed of a 3D LIDAR and a camera. The relative transformation between the two sensors is calibrated via a nonlinear least squares (NLS) problem, which is formulated in terms of the geometric constraints associated with a trihedral object. Precise initial estimates of NLS are obtained by dividing it into...
